I can't make voice calls on my Samsung Galaxy S21 5G Android 11.0

Cause 1 of 10: The selected network mode is not available

If you've set your phone to use a specific network mode, it can't get a network connection if the selected network mode is out of range.

Solution: Turn on automatic network mode selection.

Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top of the screen.

Find "Network mode ‹SIM›"

Press the settings icon.

Find "Network mode ‹SIM›"

Press Connections.

Find "Network mode ‹SIM›"

Press Mobile networks.

Find "Network mode ‹SIM›"

Press Network mode ‹SIM›.

Select network mode

Press the required network mode.

Step 7 of 7

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

1 Find "Network mode ‹SIM›"

Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top of the screen.
Press the settings icon.
Press Connections.
Press Mobile networks.
Press Network mode ‹SIM›.

2 Select network mode

Press the required network mode.
There may be different network modes available depending on where you are. If you set your phone to automatic network selection, it will always find the network with the highest data speed and best signal.

3 Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
